From February 8-11, we participated in the 2024 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show at the Tucson Convention Center with our display, “Pegmatite Minerals of the Arizona Mining, Mineral and Natural Resources Education Museum Collection.” The case included 9 worldwide specimens from our collection and 14 pegmatite mineral specimens from collector Bob Weaver’s exceptional US collection, which he donated to the museum shortly before passing away on December 29, 2023. We are very thankful for this generous donation and accompanied the display with a small thank you note. It is always fun to participate in the Tucson show, which is the largest and oldest gem show in the world. We hope to continue sharing our mineral collection at the show for years to come.
