UA President Visits the Museum!

We welcomed a very special visitor to our museum building yesterday: UA President Robert C. Robbins! Thank you President Robbins for taking the time to see our facility and learn about the AMMNRE mineral collection. During his visit, we shared a sneak peak of a few specimens that we plan to showcase at the 2020 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show next month, including a beautiful polished Morenci turquoise (above) and world-class chalcoalumite from the Copper Queen Mine in Bisbee. President Robbins, we hope to see you at the museum again soon!
