Special Exhibit at TGMS This Weekend
As we mentioned a few weeks back, we are participating as a special exhibitor at the 2020 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show at the Convention Center! We couldn't be more excited to be part of the show and share some of our favorite specimens from the AMMNRE Museum collection. The theme this year is 'World Class Minerals' and we have hand-selected some of our favorite AZ specimens, including each of the official state symbols - copper (State Metal), turquoise (State Gemstone), wulfenite (State Mineral), and petrified wood (State Fossil). Our display is set up at Booth D11 on the main floor, next to the case for the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
If you are planning to attend any Tucson gem shows, we highly encourage you to check out the show at the Convention Center. Besides the fantastic deals on rocks and minerals, the TGMS show highlights exhibits from different museums around the world, including the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History, the American Museum of Natural History, the Harvard Mineralogical Museum, and others - including us! The show is open to the public and runs from Thursday, February 13 to Sunday, February 16, 202. An admission fee is required.
We hope to see you there!
